Jolley Ranch Campground

This last weekend we decide to go camping. We went to Jolley Ranch Campground. Its close to Springville. I was amazed at how close together the campsites are here. We will probably not go to this one again anytime soon. We did find a nice camesite right by the river though. That was great for the kids. Lincoln got a little fishing in too. He caught two fish. I thought the river was too small to fish but Lincoln say there is no such thing as too small.
Sam its a good thing you still don't really roll at three months old. He is a true Canadian. Its funny though his car seat always smells of Campfire after we go camping. I have to wash the fabric on it every time we get back from a camping trip. I guess it is better then holding him the entire weekend.
These are our good friends the Glenn's they came along with us and brought there two little ones Timmy and Mary. It was a very fun trip
My Sister Tricia also came along with her three kids. Madee and her Cousins has so much fun in the river. It was shallow enough and they just played on these tiny waterfalls and along the rocks in the river. It was great fun.
This is only our second camping trip this summer but it seems like every year we explore new places in Utah. I really love it. We usually go camping two or three times a summer. This year has been especially fun because well its just funner to camp with other people rather then our own little family only.

Deer Creek Res.

Lincoln and I decided to do a day trip to Deer Creek. We have never actually been there so we called up my sister and told her to meet us there. Madelyne loved playing with her cousins in the lake.

Here is Madee, Ean and Kaylie playing in the water having a great time. Summer fun!! Afterwards we went to this Restaurant my sister recommended. It was called Dairy Keen. Its special because it has a loca Motive Train that goes in circles around the ceiling of the restaurant. That was in Heber and the kids watched the train more then they ate but they really liked it. Lincoln tried to get some fishing in but every time he would move to a spot the kids would follow him over there and then he would move again and they would move right with him. I swam a lot with the kids and sadly got a major sunburn on my shoulders. Make sure you use lots of sunscreen.

Trip to Portland

We went on our summer family vacation to Portland so see both Lincoln's and my families. We had the best time. We went and saw some of Lincoln's really good friends and they have the coolest kiddie pool. Its one you hook the hose right up to and it squirts water out. They had a warm water hook up so the kids weren't freezing. It was so nice there though.
We took a trip out to the Oregon coast with Lincoln's Parent and had to stop at the Tillamook Cheese Factory to get some really yummy ice-cream and well play on the beach. Yes this is where Tillamook Cheese is made.
It was sooo Windy and cold at the beach that we did not stay long. We were freezing cold. Madee's hair is whipping Lincoln in this picture.
Well we were in Portland we also had Sam blessed. We did it at my Parents house and invited a few family members and some friends. It was really nice just a small group. Poor little Sam was roasting in his little white outfit though. As soon as we took it off him he was fine.

We also made it to the Portland Zoo. Madee loved it Its changed so much since I was there last. She loved seeing the Monkey and the elephant. Well all in all we had a fun time and were pretty busy. Vacations are great but its nice to come home and sleep in our own beds.

My New Stroll

My new double jogging stroller came in the mail. I love it. But the only sad thing about it is when we opened the box there was a hugh hole about he size of my fist on the box first of all and then the sun shade had a hole in it too. So I have to do this whole ship it back and send me a new sun shade but at least its not ship the whole stroller back.

Madee loved the new stroller but not Sam so much.

Rearranging our Pictures

Well during the fourth of July my younger sister Kaytie helped me rearrange the pictures on my living room wall and I just want to say thanks because it looks so much better. I do not have a any kind of talent for that kind of stuff. Kaytie definately has an eye for it.

Sam gets a Photo Shoot

So I know this picture is of Sam screaming his head off but it looks pretty cool too.
Well My sister Kayte was here for the 4th of July one of the things we did was a little photo shoot of Sam and tried to get some good pictures of him. There are a couple. He wasn't very happy for a chunk of the time we were taking the pictures. Oh well.
This is kind of a cool angle to look at.

4th of July

My younger sister Kaytie and her husband Jared came out and celebrated the 4th with us. We went to the freedom Parade in Provo and Madee loved the Drums in the marching band and she got to see Cinderella in the parade too. It was really fun.
We went and watched fireworks in American Fork and my sister and Lincoln took some pretty cool pictures.
Sam looks almost sad. It was a long wait for the fireworks but we sure had fun hanging out.

Here is another one of Madee and me at the Parade. It was a little cloudy and that made it not quite as hot. We were still warm. We took a dip in the Kiddie pool to cool off after the parade though. We are glad that Kaytie and Jared came out other wise we would not have had as cool of fourth celebrations.
