Christmas!

 I love the look of the tree with all the Presents under it and the lights sparkling. Its magical. Never mind that Madee woke all the kids up at 1am and then 4am and We put them back to bed twice.

 Sam is modeling a tool belt that he received for Christmas.

Christmas Eve

 For the Denny Christmas Eve it was a pretty quiet night and I find myself missing extended family especially during the holidays. We did our own special little things though. Madee dressed up as Mary.

 The kids acted out the Nativity. Here is the stable note the star on top. Sam wanted to be a super hero and Claire wanted to be a princess (Angel).

 Here is Mary with Baby Jesus. It was cute they did a good job.

 Sam had a fever Christmas eve so most of his pictures he looks tired or eye's closed kind of a look.

We also let them open one gift matching PJ's :) We had a good night. Hope you all did too.

Stupid injuries

I will not post a picture..I might never post a picture. Yesterday I had some free time while Claire was napping and Sam was playing quietly and I decide to try and make some wall hangings for our living room. All I can say is be very slow and careful with the roll knife that you use to cut fabric. I am mostly mad at my self for not being careful and my pointer finger got in the way of the blade. I got the side of my finger and sadly it bleed a lot and will never look the same :(
Who knew a finger could mean so much to a person. I also realize how much I actually use that finger when I am unable to. My sad rant.

Dec 13th

 On the 13th day of December this is the craft we did, Candy Cane Mice.

Dec 12th

 On the 12th day of December this is the craft we did. Paper Pompom wreaths.

 I really do love the simple crafts.

Dec 11th

 On the 11th day of December this is the craft we did. Snowflakes for our sliding back door windows. Sam's is the top one.

Madee's Is the bottom snowflake. Claire did not do this craft it was a little too hard for her.

Dec 9th

On the 9th day of December this is the craft we did a Jesus manger scene. Sam and Claire have yet to do theirs so I will post picture of theirs tomorrow. Madee's baby Jesus pop's out of the picture its a little hard to see. And yes Mary and Joseph have yarn hair.

Sam also wanted his Jesus to pop out!

Claire is getting good at putting eyes and mouths on her faces.

Dec 8th

Sam did his Santa guy a day later so here we have his.

 On the 8th day of December this is the craft we did Santa's.

This was Madee's idea today. She had done a similar craft at school and drew pictures of the whole design for me on some paper. This is what we came up with. I love the eyes on Claire's Santa.

Dec 7th

 Today I was looking on pinterest (which I should not do because I just make everything I see on there). I found these very easy hair bows which were made out of felt. Made them all in less then an hour.

 Madee wanted me to make more hair bow's for her. So I did.

On the 7th day of December this is the craft we did. Popsicle snowmen ornaments. Madee's has the red scarf, Sam's has the green scarf and Claire's has the pink scarf. I made one too :)

Dec 6th

 On the 6th day of December this is the craft we did. Christmas trees :)

I love doing crafts with the kids. We are keeping it simple enough that its not stressful for me. Hope you all are enjoying the crafts too.

Dec 5th

 We had this doll house that the kids had decided to color all with crayon one night when they were bored. I decided to paint it and see if the kids would play with it more.

On the 5th day of December this is the craft we did...No we didn't do a craft yesterday. Ornament Mittens. Sam choose green.

 Madee choose Red.

 Claire choose purple.

 I think they really like doing a Christmas craft a day. Its  been really fun.

Crafts for Dec

  I have made my own wreath this will be the third year in a row. Its simple but I like it.

 On the third day of december this is the craft we made. Reindeer with our hand prints.

 Madee's is the only hand prints you can see really well.

Sam called his a star wars reindeer.

Christmas Tree and Crafts

Our Tree this year yes the kids do an excellent job decorating.

We started a new tradition the the second year in a row. We took the bottom of our tree and let the kids paint a picture on them. This year Sam got to do the picture. They are them turned into ornaments. Sam's pic is the earth he said.

Madee of her own creative mind made pin the ornaments on the tree and Sam is trying it out.

On the Second day of December this is the craft we did, pipe cleaner candy canes (Very easy) to decorate our tree more. We will see how many days we make it through with a christmas craft.
