Feeling Crafty

Yes I have been feeling crafty lately a few of the projects I have been working on. I knitted these super cute boots. Never made boots before so I was happy to be able to make them. I have mostly made hats so I have been trying harder things the last little while. It was fun.
I was reading this tutorial on how to make boxes to be better organized and well these are the third try. I like these boxes best they were made with fabric and cardboard boxes. They are 10 inch boxed and I think I will store toys in them.
This was my second try at boxes these ones are about 5 inch boxes. Sam and Madee love having there own to put what ever they want in them. It took me a couple tries to get them to go together just right.
I have also been dabbling in some crocheting. Partly because my Aunt (Aunt Dorothy) is always making amazingly cute things with crochet and I would like to be better at it and not limited to knitting. So I learned how to make these flowers on some tutorial on you tube. The other reason I was learning is to maybe try and teach some beehives in our ward. We will see. Happy Crafting!!

Madee's School Christmas Program

Madee and all the other kindergarders in her school did a really cute program "Who is smarter then our Class" They sang a bunch of cute songs.
Then they tested their knowledge against Santa. It was cute and they did a great job.

Here is what Sam did during the program :)

Chirstmas pictures I forgot

Here are a couple pictures that I realized I had not posted. Sam and Madee helped me put together a ginger bread house at Christmas time.
It might have been more fun to eat the candy off the house.

Poor Claire

Well I already wrote about poor little Claire's little accident. She is doing good though and her stiches will be gone in no time.

Christmas In Portland 2011

We spent Christmas Eve and Morning with Lincoln's folks and his brothers family. This is my niece Josslyn she is a few month older then Claire and looks beautiful in her christmas dress.
Claire by Nana and Grandpa's Christmas tree.
They had the most beautiful decorations in their house but I was a little worried about Claire breaking something. We had a great time visiting.
We went with Lincoln's Brother and family to the zoo on christmas eve and it was so quiet the perfect day to enjoy the zoo.
Lincoln, his Dad and Brother went and shoot some guns on Christmas Eve morning and when they came back Grandpa was showing Sam the gun they were shooting with.
His face is priceless here. Sam thought this was the coolest thing.
Here is Sam in front of the tree too. Sadly I did not take a single picture at my parents place and maybe some of my siblings who did will email me pictures that they took. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas we sure did.

Dec 2011

We had our own little Christmas before we headed to Portland to spend the Christmas break with our families. Here is Claire pushing her baby stroller around. Madee also showing off her Hair stying toy.

When we decorated our tree it was shorter then we originally thought it would be. The ornaments gradually got higher and higher the close to christmas we got and the more they got pulled of the tree by Claire.

Nov 2011

I got good at knitting dead fish hats. Sam is modeling his hat.
Here is Madee and Sam in both of their hats.
Claire is getting into trouble with a capital T.

This year for thanksgiving we decided to stay in Yakima and our little family had a feast. I brined our turkey and it was delicious. I could never eat it any other way.
My Aunt made this adorable hat and Claire's head was just a little too big for it. We shared it with her cousin. It was really a cute hat.

I made some trick or treat bags for the kids to carry candy in. Lets just say if Madee is any faster knocking on the doors we will need some bigger bags next year.
