Birthday Time again

What are you doing here little girl???
Yes I turned another year older on friday the 13th (ohhhh). I guess every 12 years my birthday is on a friday the 13th. Madee helped me make the cake a little bit. I should say she helped decorate it by pushing the m&m's right into the cake. They got covered up by icing. It was funny because all day long she was asking to eat the birthday cake. She picked out the candles too. It was a pretty good day. Lincoln got me some pretty flowers.
This is the final master piece. the M&M's made it taste mmmm...mmmm...good!

What we are up to.

This is my favorite picture because Madee and Sam look like they are both smiling. Well Madee was talking in this picture and Sam only smiles and Laughs in his sleep so its amazing they both look like they are smiling.
Looks like Lincoln has quite the flare for Art. He is currently taking a ceramic's class and has so far created some pretty cool stuff. He made this box. Yes that is a Mr Potato head handle.
Sam must have been pretty hungry in this picture because he is actually eating the blanket. It was funny.
Madee is still holding on to those baby days. Yes this is Sam's car seat and she was securing herself in it quite well when Lincoln took this picture.
Of all the pictures this is my favorite because Lincoln was sleeping and so was Sam and I clicked it before Lincoln knew what was happening.

Swimming in my swimming pool

I thought I would go down memory lane. This picture was taken in 2006 and the pool looks hugh its all the same size pool just remember that ok.
Ok another year older and in 2007 Madee is still loving the pool in the back yard thing.
Finally we make it 2008. Madee is swimming with her neighbours Kaiden and Rayna. They had a great time. If you let the water warm in the sun for two hours it makes it so there legs don't actually freeze off.

I know not a very modest swimming suit but she is two years old. She loves playing in the pool. Maybe those swim lessons when you were six month old paid off :)
Madee was making a dash for the car from the door and tripped the poor girl. It looks worse then it is.

The Denny's Come Visit

Lincoln's Sister Sarah and her four kids (Jack, Zaylie, Elijah, and Wyatt). Came to Visit along with Lincoln's Mom Margaret. It was really fun having them around. We had a good time at the Park and Madee loved having cousins to play with.
Madee also loved having Nana to play with and spend some more time with. Sam got spoiled by being held all the time.
We had to pick Lincoln up from the Airport on Saturday because he was interviewing for a job in SF California and had been gone since Thursday. We really miss him when he is gone like that. Well since we were already going into Salt Lake we stopped in at temple square and Madee loved it. Margaret came with us and Madee, Margaret, Sam and I had a really great time seeing the temple and the tabernacle and even the statue of Christ. Mom D was such a big help on our outting to temple square and actually the whole weekend we loved having her around.
This is a picture of Lincoln's sister Sarah we did catch her a in a couple pictures. She is an amazing mom doing a road trip alone with her four kids. Well she Had Mom D with her on the way down but she was going solo back to Washington. It was great to see you guys.

Everyday Stuff

Its funny but a lot of the pictures I have been taking of Sam lately have been kind of bug eyed pictures. hopefully he will grow out of it. He likes to turn his head away when you snap a picture too. He is a very wiggly boy.
Lincoln bought Madee a barbie kite and that is all she has wanted to do lately is take it out and fly it. So we took her to the park the other night and actually got some pretty good wind. She held the kite herself and loved it. Such a simple little thing but wind or not Madee wants to go out and try and fly it. Silly girl.
My sleeping little boy. Too bad its more during the day then at night. We wake up every few hours you can count on that. Sam is a very good eater. I doubt he would let me forget a meal.

Two Kids

I must say that being a mom was quite the shock to the system. So many new things to learn about how to take care of a new baby and then they grow and change. Well its still that way with a second one. So many new things to learn and then you have two and how do they do learning to get use to another family member. Its been quite the adjustment but I love my kids and am glad that we have such a good little girl who loves her brother Sam.
This is one of my personal favorates when it come to pictures. Madee is such a cheesy girl.
Sam you keep changing and doing different things. Sleeping alot in the day, sleeping a little at night and sometimes the other way around. cooing and screeching when your hungery. I will get the hang of this one of these days.

Loving Baby Brother

Now I understand why people take so many pictures of there youngest newest family members. would you look at that face.
Madee loves her baby brother and every morning she comes into the room to see him and asks to hold him way too much. She just loves her baby brother.
He does a lot of thinking for his age.
