Sam gets a Photo Shoot

So I know this picture is of Sam screaming his head off but it looks pretty cool too.
Well My sister Kayte was here for the 4th of July one of the things we did was a little photo shoot of Sam and tried to get some good pictures of him. There are a couple. He wasn't very happy for a chunk of the time we were taking the pictures. Oh well.
This is kind of a cool angle to look at.

4th of July

My younger sister Kaytie and her husband Jared came out and celebrated the 4th with us. We went to the freedom Parade in Provo and Madee loved the Drums in the marching band and she got to see Cinderella in the parade too. It was really fun.
We went and watched fireworks in American Fork and my sister and Lincoln took some pretty cool pictures.
Sam looks almost sad. It was a long wait for the fireworks but we sure had fun hanging out.

Here is another one of Madee and me at the Parade. It was a little cloudy and that made it not quite as hot. We were still warm. We took a dip in the Kiddie pool to cool off after the parade though. We are glad that Kaytie and Jared came out other wise we would not have had as cool of fourth celebrations.

Camping at Rockport State Park

My younger sister decide to do a camping trip and invited me and my older sisters family to go with them. We went to Rockport State Park in Utah and it was so great. We had the best time.
It was not too hot because we were right by the water. Not totally freezing at night either. But a little chilly. I was not sure if we would be able to camp this year because Sam is only two months old. We kept him in his car seat for sleeping and he did great. Better then he does at home. It was amazing. Madee stayed in her own little sleeping bag the whole night. This may be our best camping trip with her too.
Here is Madee with her cousin Kaylie. They are the only two girls on my side of the family. She had a lot of fun with her cousins.
My older sister Tricia was smart enough to bring glow sticks for the kids. Not only can you keep track of them in the dark but they have a light all through the night so its not as scary. Good Idea Tricia.
And lastly my younger sisters in laws brought their boat out Saturday morning so we got to play on that all day. Madee loved the tube and I think she liked it more then I did because right when we got back into the boat she wanted to go on it again. Thanks for the great camping trip.

Birthday Time again

What are you doing here little girl???
Yes I turned another year older on friday the 13th (ohhhh). I guess every 12 years my birthday is on a friday the 13th. Madee helped me make the cake a little bit. I should say she helped decorate it by pushing the m&m's right into the cake. They got covered up by icing. It was funny because all day long she was asking to eat the birthday cake. She picked out the candles too. It was a pretty good day. Lincoln got me some pretty flowers.
This is the final master piece. the M&M's made it taste mmmm...mmmm...good!

What we are up to.

This is my favorite picture because Madee and Sam look like they are both smiling. Well Madee was talking in this picture and Sam only smiles and Laughs in his sleep so its amazing they both look like they are smiling.
Looks like Lincoln has quite the flare for Art. He is currently taking a ceramic's class and has so far created some pretty cool stuff. He made this box. Yes that is a Mr Potato head handle.
Sam must have been pretty hungry in this picture because he is actually eating the blanket. It was funny.
Madee is still holding on to those baby days. Yes this is Sam's car seat and she was securing herself in it quite well when Lincoln took this picture.
Of all the pictures this is my favorite because Lincoln was sleeping and so was Sam and I clicked it before Lincoln knew what was happening.

Swimming in my swimming pool

I thought I would go down memory lane. This picture was taken in 2006 and the pool looks hugh its all the same size pool just remember that ok.
Ok another year older and in 2007 Madee is still loving the pool in the back yard thing.
Finally we make it 2008. Madee is swimming with her neighbours Kaiden and Rayna. They had a great time. If you let the water warm in the sun for two hours it makes it so there legs don't actually freeze off.

I know not a very modest swimming suit but she is two years old. She loves playing in the pool. Maybe those swim lessons when you were six month old paid off :)
Madee was making a dash for the car from the door and tripped the poor girl. It looks worse then it is.
