Madee the photographer

Sometimes when no one is watching Madee does things we are not even sure of. I was down loading some pictures off our old camera and these are what I found. Madee the little photographer. Kind of funny!

Once upon a Time....

Once upon a time there was a princess named Arora. She was beautiful and Pretty and had the most wonderful singing voice. Not to many people knew but Arora had a sister. Named Sister. They loved to be together but one day Sisters arm broke off and Arora was so sad. They tried to mend the arm but it just fell off again and would it would not say mended they deemed her broken and into the garbage she went. Arora was lonely and Sad without her sister until one day a wonderful package came and Arora by some miricle was reunited with her sister Arora.
(Nana you may have never known but Madee had another doll just like this white one and it really did break. You have reunited a family. Thankyou)

Grandpa You forgot your PJ's

Madee's Grandpa and Nana Came from Portland Oregon to visit us about two weeks ago and when they left Madee found these PJ's and announced to us that Grandpa had forgotten his PJ's. It was very funny. So Grandpa if you are missing some PJ's...we know where they are!

It was really great to have Lincoln's Parent here. Madee and Sam both loved spending time with them and we got to do something fun to. We went to the Dinosaur Museum at thanksgiving point. It was pretty cool. Tons of hands on stuff for Madee to touch and explore.

Here is her coming out of a pretty cool tunel and having a blast.
Thanks so much for come and spending time with us. We love Nana and Grandpa!

Things we have been doing!

Ok I do have to admit I have been a very lazy blogger. We did a bunch of stuff awhile back and I just now am putting the pictures up for it. We took a trip to the local school right by our house to fly a kite because it was just windy enought to do it. Madee rode her bike there and everything.
Madee loves riding her bike and loves flying kits with her Daddy. We decided it was nice enough. This really says how long ago it was because It been wintery not so nice weather for the last week. So this was a few weeks ago. We decided it was nice enough to walk to the park like 8 blocks away. Madee did ride her bike the whole time. What a trooper.
Madee sure does love the park. We went on the swings together and played and played. It was a fun evening just our little family together.
So these pictures were an accident for some reason it will not let me bring up the pictures of us at bridle veil falls. SO here are cute pictures of Sam instead.

In the last three days or so Sam stopped holding on to things and started walking on his own. Its so cute to see him taking little baby steps everywhere. He is liking this new freedom but he is still wobbley. He has had a few face plants but he loves trying to keep up with Madee. He will definately get there.

Sick Kids

Well for the last week or so we have had sick kids. As everyone knows sick kids are no fun. Madee was sick and not her usual cheery self last week, for a couple days and you can totally tell she was sick because instead of her usual running around and demanding help on many different things she just sat on the couch in one spot for way too long and fell in and out of sleep. She was really sick, she had a cold, fever all that fun stuff. Well she so generously shared her sickness with Sam and 10month old babys are not very pleasant when they are sick. Last night though he woke up at like 10pm from a dead sleep and started screaming bloody murder. It was not the usual I'm awake scream. It was a I am very angry or something is really bothering me scream. I kind of scared me a little, because we would hold him and nothing was calming the kid down. We had our friend come over and help Lincoln give him a blessing and soon after he calmed down and went back to sleep. Its a weird feeling not being able to make everything better for you kids. I am truly greatful for a husband who can bless my kids when they are sick. I really believe Gods power heals us. Sam seems to be feeling much better today and is hopefully on the mend. I am ready for spring and the sun and much less sickness.

Coraline

After John and Jenn recommended Coraline as a good movie to see, Lincoln decide to get the book. Since we don't get to the theater much with two little ones we both enjoyed reading this book. I recommend it to anyone and do want to see the movie now. Maybe when it comes on video.
