These are a few of my favorite things!!

Having my sisters so close and being able to get together and have BBQ's with them!!
Watching my little boy run excitedly toward dogs to pet them and listening to him talk more and more everyday!
Seeing Madee use her imagination and watching her get along so well with good friends.
Seeing Sam's hair now that he no longer has to wear his helmet anymore!
And My most favorite thing of all is this!!

Racing For a Cure

We really do have Lincoln to thank for this race. Novell is the company Lincoln works for and they registered 40 spots in the Race for a Cure 5k in Salt Lake City. This is fighting to stop Breast Cancer. So Lincoln got us in the race for free. Complementary of Novell.
Tricia is the Sister I have done tones of running with but not in the past couple years ever since she moved to Kearn's/West Jordon :( The Same sister I did a Marathon with. Running with my sister was so great to be able to do again. It brought back alot of great memories. It made me want to run more.
This race has tones of runners every year. We are talking around 17,000 walk/runners. It was insane. The Streets were filled and we were the middle of the mob of people.
We really did have the best time though. Thanks Lincoln for arranging this. It was so awesome.

Sam Turns One year Old

So no kid should be sick on their birthday. Poor Sam was so sick the night before his birthday and then all day until about 4pm. He was on the mend but poor kid you can see his rosy cheeks and he did not get to try the cake because we were worried about the effects.
He had a great birthday besides that. He loved the wrapping paper the most of coarse and his big sister helped him unwrap his gifts, blow out his candles and play with his new gifts.
He got a little Tonka garage. (I picked it because it folds up and is portable and small)
It was suppose to be a train cake. It fell apart in the pans and you can barely tell its a Train. Oh well better luck next year.
Sam Liked the candles. All in all He had a pretty good day. Its funny how you could skip the first birthday all together and they wouldn't really know. He was so oblivious that it was his birthday. Madee was way more excited about it. Anyway Happy Birthday my cute baby Boy. I can hardly believe its been a year since you joined our family. We love you and hope you have many more joyful birthdays.

Go Cougars

We went to our first Game of the year. Sam likes Baseball. It was really fun.
Madee would sit for a while but popcorn helped her last longer. We made it through half a game before they were ready for bed.

Sorry we had to leave early Lincoln. I know you like watching the whole game. Maybe the next game.

Visiting Logan

We decided to make a trip out to Logan because Kaytie my younger sister just had a baby. I know you can't even tell and yes she is skinnier then me two weeks after having little Annie.
We got to go to this cool little zoo in Logan with lots of bird and a few other animals. Grandma helped Madee across the rocks so Madee thought she would be so helpful and do the same for Grandma.
It was really cute.
We had a great time meeting our new niece and visiting. Thanks for letting us come out.
Sam also enjoyed walking around the zoo. He didn't last long but is walking pretty amazingly good by himself.

Exploring our Neighbourhood

About a month ago when we had a day of beautiful weather we decided to explore a little and we headed out to Pleasant Grove/Highland way. Just North about 15 or 20min. Lincoln found this cute little pond. There was actually a lot of people fishing but he brought the fishing pole. He tried to teach Madee because she said she wanted to fish. She lasted about 2min then was really for the park.
It was a really nice place with a park right by it so Madee, Sam and I headed over to the park and played so that Lincoln could actually try and fish for a little while. It was a fun afternoon adventure. We really enjoyed it.

Madee the fishing Pro!!

Easter Egg Decorating

Madee and I did our Traditional Easter Egg Decorating again this year. I got pictures of us actually decorating this time. Usually I remember after we are all done that I should have taken some pictures.

After we were all finished Madee wanted to peel her own egg and eat it. She has become quite the egg eater. I think colored eggs most be way more tasty then the plain white ones. At least that is what Madee seems to think.
