Bottles Bottles everywhere

Sam our beautifully handsome son has started into a phase of his life where he likes throwing these amazingly loud tantrums. Mostly because he wants to drink a bottle. Well we were going to slowly take his bottle away gradually but with the kind of tantrums they have been we have decided to cold turkey the bottle. Its been a rough few days for him but he is getting better about going to bed and napping without them. His Tantrums are even getting to be fewer. The only time it really bothers me that he doesn't get a bottle is in the middle of the night because when he's not sleeping we are not sleeping. Lucky Madee is an extremely deep sleeper and can fall asleep to Sam's screaming and even stay asleep through it in the middle of the night. I am extremely greatful for that. Next will be on to sleeping in a big boy bunk bed. Madee is very excited to sleep on the top bunk. She likes the idea of it but we will see if she enjoys it as much when its actually real.

Night time complaining

I just have to speak my mind a little bit. Since I am still up and its really late. (almost midnight). The last three month of pregnancy have to be the most uncomfortable. I really think they should make special beds just for women in there third trimester of pregnancy. You know beds that are actually comfortable and the you can sleep in without getting up like ten times a night. (sigh)
Maybe its not the bed. Maybe I am just getting more uncomfortable with this belly. I lay on one side I get heart burn. I lay on my back I get back aches. I lay on my belly. Well lets just be honest I don't lay on my belly. Only one side left to lay on and its not the side I am most used to falling asleep on. Only three more months to go. Then I don't really have to worry about sleeping because I will be up every three hours anyway. Maybe now that all of this is in writing I can finally fall asleep. Wish me luck on a comfortable nights sleep.

My last Baby project (hopefully)!

I found yet another wonderful use for the fabric my fabulous Mother in law sent to me. I made a baby bumper using the the batting from a bumper I bought for Sam from DI! I love the fun colors and how it all turned out.

Random dreams!

So I woke up this morning and had a random dream. I hear this happens more often when your pregant. Well I am a few months away from the due date of this little. I dreamed that I was in some random weird ladies house and my water broke. There was little wet footprints all around that is how I knew it broke. I kept think this is too early. That is when I woke up. Like I said random dream!

Flowers

Well you may think these flower are for me and yes I do get to enjoy them too. Madee got a special surprise from her daddy for valentines this year. Beautiful flowers "what she always wanted as she puts it". I was forwarned that Madee would get some and not me. I got Choc covered Strawberries instead mmmm! Sam even got a little valintines present. There was a little stuffed dog attached the vase and Sam just loved it. Hope everyone had a great day like we did!

Baby blankets are fun to do!

Keeping with the tradition of making every kid a baby blanket here is blanket number three.

What kind of day was your day?

On a day we had no plans and thought we would be so bored we actually got a couple things done. Lincoln helped me pull out the serger machine that has been sitting in my closet for so long. He got it threaded and running for me. That was the best! That also got me in the sewing mood. So I decided to make one of those Car seat tents everyone has been talking about. (pictures to come a little later). Lincoln also fixed one of our dresser drawers that has been really hard to pull in and out for a long time. I think its been pretty productive day.
