Nine Month Pregnant

Yes I am nine months and almost ready for baby to come. I thought I would share a picture of myself :) ....ok well I will share a cute picture of the nursing cover I made. Just picture a big belly under that. It is very big by the way. I have been working on a few baby projects the last week or so. I just love sewing if you can't already tell. Here are some more.
Here are a couple Onesie Dress I made. I am not totally positive I liked the colors I picked together. I guess I could always make other ones. Thanks for the idea Aunt Dorothy.
I made a car seat tent or cover for my car seat and my older sister wanted me to make one for her. I love the fabric she picked here is hers.
Cute cute! I wonder if I am really done with all my sewing projects or if I will find another one to do right before baby comes. We will see.

Baking Freak!

I get into these moods. Yes I was in the mood to bake today and well I did. I made very large yummy dinner rolls that we are going to eat with BBQ shredded pork for dinner. They are soooo yummy. I also baked cookies. at pretty much the same time. Well the rolls were rising I was putting the cookies together. Super easy cookies made from a cake mix. I will share it. I like the devil cake mix best.

1 box cake mix
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
Choc chips, m&m or nuts of any kind (optional)
350 degrees for 8-10 min.

After all that baking I did, I did have to sit down. Too much Standing for someone who is having a baby in two weeks.

Sam's Party

We had a family party for Sam this year. I must admit he is getting much better at open gifts. He loved everything he got. Blocks, Batman, Dwarfs. Even had fun visiting Grandparents on the computer. Thanks everyone for helping us celebrate.
He got a cake car this year and blew the candles out all by himself. He wanted to grab the car cake and play with it. He settled for just eating a lot of it.
This was Lincoln's design. Super easy to make car cake. Happy Birthday Sam glad you had so much fun!

Happy Birthday Sam!

To Sammy boy who is our special guy! Its hard to believe its been two year! You are so much bigger then I remember. I guess that is because you once were so little.
Happy 2nd birthday to my funny, crazy, jumping on people, cute smiling, cuddly special little boy. We love you Sam and are glad that you are part of our family!

Rain

On days when it rains really good in Utah, this happens few and far between. I really, really love the smell of rain. It reminds me of the good old high school days in Oregon City. It actually reminds me of the northwest in general. I miss the rain sometimes. We had a good rainy day yesterday and today we woke up to rain and a little snow. So strange this Utah spring.

Mostly Finished for real!

The mattresses are on and Lincoln finished a little rail for the Sam's part of the bed. His mattress was a bit bigger then we thought and were worried about him just rolling right out of bed.

Sam took his first nap in his new bed and actually...truthfully I think he might really be napping on the floor behind the door. Its hard when your almost two and you are no longer trapped inside a crib for naps and night time. Good luck Sam I know you can do it. Your mattress is really comfortable. I might take a nap on it!
