New Year's Eve at the ER!
I do have pictures and we almost have our fixed computer thanks so so much to Lincoln's Dad. I wanted to share the story of our new years eve. Lincoln and I were in Portland visiting my folks and they very generously watched my three children while I went and picked Lincoln up from Beaverton because he was fishing with a buddy. As the story goes Claire was running around Mom's house like a mad girl and ran into the living room maybe slipping maybe not and bumped her head on the stool of the rocking chair. Well it was a big enough cut to cause concern. Mom called me and told me what happened. We came home as quick as we could and tried to take Claire to an immidate care place but at 7pm they were close already so we decided to take Claire to the ER. It was a big enough cut that was still bleeding even after about the hour it took us to get back and run around. Took her in and they looked at her and she ended up having to get six stiches. Poor girl was tramatized by the whole thing. She has a nice looking sore on her face right by her eyebrow. Never planned on spending our new years eve that way.

Thanksgiving at our place
I know, no pictures I am still working that detail out. I really do miss blogging. I just wanted to share a little something I loved about Thanksgiving today. I was a little sad not to spend it with extended family. I did have a very sweet experience today. I made a beautiful Thanksgiving feast for our little family of which Madee and Sam choose rolls as their only food. That is not the sweet part. After Madee and Sam helped me put a table cloth on our table and we filled our plates and all sat down to eat I recommended that we all come up with one thing we were thankful for. Well we each went around the table and said one thing. As we ate my children kept sharing sweet little things that they were thankful for. It touched my heart. Happy Thanksgiving!
