Christmas Tree and Crafts

Our Tree this year yes the kids do an excellent job decorating.

We started a new tradition the the second year in a row. We took the bottom of our tree and let the kids paint a picture on them. This year Sam got to do the picture. They are them turned into ornaments. Sam's pic is the earth he said.

Madee of her own creative mind made pin the ornaments on the tree and Sam is trying it out.

One the first day of december this is the craft we did. One Santa head by Claire.

Madee also wanted to do Mrs Claus.

On the Second day of December this is the craft we did, pipe cleaner candy canes (Very easy) to decorate our tree more. We will see how many days we make it through with a christmas craft.

 Well at 7 months pregnant there you go. Sam took the photo and chopped my head off a little but he did pretty good I thought. Thanks Kaytie I got the cloths you sent but I did alter them a little. The red one I am wearing I took about and inch and a half off each side to make it more fitting and less tent like. Turned out pretty good I thought.

November

 First of all can I just say I love these kids. Think they were cold or something. I decided two things first Lincoln takes really great pictures and I wanted to share some of them.

 In Wenetchee on a random walk we ran across this building.

 I think this picture and the one above it are when Lincoln was fishing.

Walla Walla at the bird sanctuary park. I just love the pictures Lincoln takes and I never see them until I run across them later on our computer. He has a better eye for photography then I. The second thing I have decide is that well besides being a slack at blogging I get really ambitious right before I have a baby. Three months or more before they come I start making a whole bunch of stuff. Right now I have been making everything I see on pinterest. I won't post pictures but I will list a few.

• Super Hero masks made out of felt are super easy
• Circle skirts are amazingly easy and wish I had learned to make them before now.
• Baby mattress sheets easy easy. 
• Tool Belt made out of old jeans
• PJ bottoms
• Scrap fabric paper doll dress up kit.

These are some of the things I have made already and have more in my head that I still want to make. Maybe after Christmas I will post pictures of these things. For now I am just glad that I have the motivation to make some great homemade Christmas presents for my kids. To wrap it all up I want to say I am going to try harder to blog more. I have been very bad at posting and well some of you don't live so close so I will try to update a lot more. Happy November everyone!

Late on Halloween

 Princess Claire was so cute when she would tell people she was a princess. She loved being a princess for halloween.

Madee the Dreamy Genie. The kids had a great Halloween and got too much candy from Trunk or Treat and going trick or treating. So here are the pictures finally.

Lincoln's Birthday

 Another year another birthday! We love Lincoln the kids were so happy he had a birthday.

 Madee was so cute she and her friend made little signs and posted them all over the house for lincoln to read for his birthday.

 Earlier in the week we did our traditional pumpkin carving. I love that the kids actually draw the face on their pumpkins and gut them. :)

They are getting so big. I do remember a time when we did most of that. Love Fall and pumpkins!

Prosser Balloon Festival

 We went to the Prosser Balloon Festival about a month ago. Its an hour from Yakima and we got up really early to go see the balloons take off. It was pretty neat. The kids loved watching them set up and take off.

 We had a very close up view of everything and it was cool to watch all 23 of the hot air balloons take off.

Birthday Girl

 Our Sweet Madee turned 7 years old. We decorated!

 I tried to do a peace sign because she said she really loved them. I should have done a little circle around the cake in blue she still liked it and tasted yummy.

 Only two boyfriends after blowing out all but two candles.

She really wanted that flarp stuff. (it's goo that makes farting noises in a jar) So funny. We also took Madee and well all the kids to the family fun center and did the arcade. It was fun and the kids played a bunch of different games. Sadly the race cars were closed but Madee still had fun. It was a great Birthday.
