We had a family party for Sam this year. I must admit he is getting much better at open gifts. He loved everything he got. Blocks, Batman, Dwarfs. Even had fun visiting Grandparents on the computer. Thanks everyone for helping us celebrate.
He got a cake car this year and blew the candles out all by himself. He wanted to grab the car cake and play with it. He settled for just eating a lot of it.
This was Lincoln's design. Super easy to make car cake. Happy Birthday Sam glad you had so much fun!
To Sammy boy who is our special guy! Its hard to believe its been two year! You are so much bigger then I remember. I guess that is because you once were so little.
Happy 2nd birthday to my funny, crazy, jumping on people, cute smiling, cuddly special little boy. We love you Sam and are glad that you are part of our family!
The mattresses are on and Lincoln finished a little rail for the Sam's part of the bed. His mattress was a bit bigger then we thought and were worried about him just rolling right out of bed. 
Sam took his first nap in his new bed and actually...truthfully I think he might really be napping on the floor behind the door. Its hard when your almost two and you are no longer trapped inside a crib for naps and night time. Good luck Sam I know you can do it. Your mattress is really comfortable. I might take a nap on it!
Some of you may know that we have been planning on building a bunk bed and it had been in the process of being built for some time. Lincoln I must add measure a twin mattress and put his own design together to build this. Much cheaper then buying one. Well after a month of bad weekend weather we finally got some real spring weather and Lincoln my awesome, sweet, hardworking husband spent the whole day yesterday getting the rest of it sanded and put together.
Madee was so excited to be able to sleep on it last night. I was excited it was done so the kids can get used to sleeping on it. I think it looks awesome! What do you think? Pictures of mattress's on it to come.
Went out to my sister Kaytie's and did an Easter Egg hunt with the kids. The littlest got to get a few eggs first before the older kids took them all. It was really fun! Sam just wanted the candy in the eggs.
There was so pretty tricky places to hide eggs. Madee had a lot of fun with her cousins.

Mom this last one is for you! Or was it the Easter Bunny! We do remember finding a bunny just like this one on our kitchen table when we were kids. They were fun to make and the kids made the Bunny ears, aren't they great!
