January..Smanuary

Madee made this sign so Sam could sleep (so she told me) Its on the inside of the door.
Kaytie I am a bit of a copy cat with the letters. I was looking at how you decorated Annie's name.

Christmas Fun!

We had a pretty good christmas good friends over christmas eve and then Madee and say acted out the nativity as well which I did not get pictures of sadly. Madee woke up around 6:15am and proudly annouced that Santa had come. She waited patiently till 7am to open gifts.
Pirates say Arrrrrgggg!! Santa even brought the hoopy earings I wanted!! Pirate earrings that is.

Claire liked the boxes and wrapping paper best of coarse.
All in all it was simply a fabulous christmas!! Hope you all had a wonderful day as well.

They hung their stockings with care!

After six years of random stockings hanging in our home I finally made some for our family. They are simple yes but I like them. (Its about time really because I made like 7 or 8 stockings in January for my mom.)
Claire has started crawling rather fast and pushes the walker we have around the kitchen towards me when ever she see's me. She has also started climbing up on her bouncer and making herself bounce pretty hard. Crazy girl is learning so much too fast for me.
Madee is soooo excited for christmas!

Sam at Ballet Presentation

Christmas Ballet Presentation!

Madee has been taking Ballet Lessons for the last three months and loves it. Today her class got to show the parents what they have been learning. It was very cute.
A bit blurry. She is learning a little bit of tap the last fifteen minutes of her classes.
She was very excited to dance with the Christmas trees behind her.
There are seven little girls all between four and five I think in her class. Gretchen is the one standing beside her in this picture.
Miss Sarah is her teacher and she is fun and sweet to all the girls. Yeah for ballet! We would have video taped some but our battery on our camera is dead :(

Thankful Even at Christmas Time

For all of the month of November we put up a thankful tree. We did this same thing last year its just been a good way to remind ourselves and the kiddo's what we are thankful for. It was fun to hear some of the things Madee and Sam were thankful for... :)
Claire is six month old now and just broke her first two teeth during thanksgiving. I can't let her chew on my fingers anymore with out getting some battle scars.
We got our Christmas tree last night. (Tree's are much cheaper in Yakima then they are in Utah.) Madee and Sam loved helping me decorate the tree. Sure there are too many lights at the bottom and the bulbs are all in the same area. I think I will keep it just the way it is. I would also like to try and remember all that I'm am thankful for on through the Christmas season!

Gobble Gobble!

We went to Portland to spend thanksgiving with my Parents and two brothers. The roads were great for going from a snowy place to a wet place. My Brother Ben prepared an amazing turkey. It was so juicy even the what meat was moist and juicy.
My niece Nora was very busy wondering around and having anyone who would pick her us. She is getting so big and sure loves to graze on food. I don't know whats up with Uncle Ben. She likes him sometimes but not when he is in the middle of the living room on a mattress snoring just a little..she ran the other way. :)
Ely and Madee played ok together. Leggo's and other games. Grandma always has some fun toys at her house.
We did a Huff and Puff before we stuffed on thanksgiving day. It was a 3k run/walk. We had a good time and I got no pictures of that but Madee can sure move fast with those rubber boots on that are too big for her. We forgot her running shoes. She was going faster then me.

On our way too Portland we did stop at Stonehenge. We drive by it everytime we go to Portland and thought we would take some pictures. Its a little snowy there.
