Sam's Big Day

Donuts for a birthday breakfast!
Sam helps decorate the house for our family party!
After a trip to the park and to burger king to play on the play set we waited for daddy to come home for the big party! Sam was so excited all day that it was his birthday.
He wanted a dragon birthday (interpretation..Dino birthday) So I did my best to make a Dino cake.
For the party we played pin the tail on the Dino and Madee was really helpful at coming up with games to play and spinning people around.

We played balance the ball on the spoon and race to the other side of the room.
Sam blew all his candles out one by one!
With a little peeking it was easy!
This is how Sam felt most of the day.

He got a motor cycle little toy and a buzz light year little toy too! Its the first birthday he has really felt excited about and realized all that was going on.

Easter Sunday

Claire and Madee got some new easter dresses we figure they will use them for church anyway.

Easter Stuff

For Family Home Evening Monday night our family did a little Easter egg hunt in our back yard. (I must admit I really do miss my sister at times like this because we would always do Easter egg hunts with their families.) So it was simple and quiet but Madee, Sam and Claire had a lot of fun looking. We do have video of them looking that I will post later.

We decided to color some eggs today. So Pretty.



Right after we finished and I got all the egg dye cleaned up Claire came over and grabbed the news paper the eggs were drying on and pulled it off the table. one dozen cracked eggs..Oh well! Hope every one else does some fun Easter activities.

Running And Pottie Training

Exercising:
I would just like to say that Exercising regularly makes me feel so much better through out the day. I know this because I always have a hard time getting back into exercising after having baby's and my baby is almost 11 months old. I have been trying to be better about doing some kind of exercise but what I have really wanted to do is run the Sun River Half Marathon. My Mom did it last year and I really want to do it this year with her and my older sister Tricia and who ever else decides to join us. I have been running and walking regularly trying to train for it waking up early and going on long runs on Saturday's. It makes me happy and I feel so great when I am trying hard to exercise and reach my fitness goals.

Potty Training:
I started Potty Training Sam last Friday and it has gone amazingly well. I won't go into details but I will say that he is now at the point where he tells me when he need to use the bathroom and at church yesterday he didn't even get the diaper I put on him wet. Yeah for successful Potty Training. I am so glad he was willing to try!

Claire Zilla

She walks mahhhhahhahh! She has kind of been walking for a week but now its become the official mode of transportation.

Our House

Well at our house I did fail to mention that Claire Elizabeth Denny is now the earliest walker at our house at ten months old. She has been taking five and six steps and well is getting lots of walking practice in. Its all very exciting for her meaning she can reach more things and get into more things. She loves this. Poor Sam had a fever off and on all last week. We got him into the doctor and he had an ear infection. Nothing a little medicine can't cure. I must say I love having a bike and trailer to transport our kids in, but I do have the worst luck. I have only attempted to take the kids bike riding to the park one other time then today and on both occasions we got flat tires. I really thought the tire goo would fix this problem. (I might be cursed.) I still love bike riding.

Familyfun!

Madee and I have been getting the family fun magazine in the mail (thanks to my Mom) and there are some pretty fun crafts in there we have been trying to do some of them and Madee really enjoys making things.
